Beg working in rnds.

Rnd 1: With RS facing, ch 1, (sc, 5 dc) in last ch-2 sp made in Row 12, [(sc, 5 dc) in next ch-sp] 5 times, [(sc, dc, sc) in between next 2 pairs of 3-dc groups, (sc, 5 dc) in next ch-sp] 4 times, [(sc, 5 dc) in next ch-sp] 4 times, sl st in first ch to join—96 sts. Fasten off.

Flower

Flower is worked in spiral rnds. Work each petal around the ch-sp in between sc of flower leaves.

With C and RS of hat facing, join with sl st in center ring between any two sc.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, [(sc, dc, sc) in each ch-sp of center ring] around—15 sts.

Rnd 2: [(Sc, 2 dc, sc) in each ch-sp of Leaves Rnd 2] around—20 sts.

Rnd 3: [(Sc, 3 dc, sc) in each ch-sp of Leaves Rnd 3] around—25 sts.

Rnd 4: [(Sc, 2 dc) in next ch-sp, (2 dc, sc) in next ch-sp] around—30 sts.

Fasten off.
